Our carping future, getting the kiddies involved and experiencing nature at an early age. Lukas`s little un watching his rods :)
Cz angler David Fort has been back amongst the big river Carp from his home country and managed to bank this immaculate mirror. carp like these is the allure for trips across the pond. as its not only big its bloody perfect and not a blemish on her. what a lovely looking carp that's probably never been banked before and boy can you tell. an absolute stunner. great photo David I hope those mk1 compacts bank a few more like this for you! Here's what David had to say on his session..... ``.....Dear Scott,
hope you are well. I am sending you another picture of my capture. This is my first February carp caught on 4th February 2016. This lovely wild river mirror carp was caught on Fish boilie from Imperial Baits. I came to the river early morning and was a bit dissipointed as it had really high flow rate that complicated my fishing. The rod was placed only 10 minutes when I could hear my red MK1 Compact! Fish on! It took me over 15min to net this river beauty on 16.80kg. It was the only run of that day. Even when I was fishing the river with high flow rate with lot of branches and grass there were no false bleeps from E.C.U. I heard them once and it was the carp pictured :-) Well done, Scott!....`` Ever successful Midlands angler and fishing tutor Russ Guise has been in touch recently with news that one particular frosty session at Oxfords linear fisheries that saw the water freeze he managed to bank an 29lber from under the ice! Sometimes there's no stopping some anglers.... :)
Here's Russ's pics from the session..... Here's a few photos I thought id share, that anglers send into me on occasions. A picture tells a thousand words they say? and its probably true. have a look at this lovely atmospheric shot of Sussex's Vinnetrow captured by big fish angler Graham Larkcom as he relentlessly pursues the mighty half linear, somewhere out there there's a near 60lb + waddling around....
David Fort, cz specialist angler tries out his new mk1 compacts on a freezing cold river session and christens them in fine style with a big river winter Common.... Here`s what David had to say...... ``..........Dear Scott, attached my first carp when fishing with E.C.U.alarms :-) It is a very precious river wild common. I fished 3 day sessions as there is a law then we can fish only from 7am to 6pm on public waters from January to March. This 16kg common came on the first day morning. I had only 1 run a day. The first days I caught this 16kg common, second one small common and yesterday midday I had another lovely 13.5kg common. It is January and I have already 9 carps from the river with four over 13kg! Great season :-) Thank you and regards, David.......`` Great news clip David all the best, any lads with fish catches or carpy pics you want to share please send them in by email [email protected] , I always like posting up a carpy story from UK or Europe on occasions between sorting out alarm builds and processing orders. :)
