``Hi Scott, I had this one last week 43lb.05oz so impressed with your buzzers and getting a lot of interest on the bank thanks Stuart Parker `` Many thanks Stu for the info, short and sweet and to the point, uk 40 in the bag, well done mate! Looks like an old warrior to me this one, with those battle scars along her flanks and amber chestnut colours, lovely old carp.

Old Skool angler Bob Tapken gets a 30plus common and 35lb mirror on his mk1 compacts, Bobs had two custom yellow led alarms off me all through the winter to test out for his own fishing and so impressed with them he's put an order in and nailed me for another 3! lol here's what Bob has to say on his result..... ``Hi Scott, I had another Wednesday morning a 30lb7oz common so here are the pictures of both and also included a picture of my set up. Pictures aren't brill it was absolutely freezing and my hands felt as though they were dropping off. It is a very good brace for up here at this time of the year, they came from a little syndicate of around 4/5 acres near Market Drayton in Shropshire we have one fish which last out was 38-14 so hoping for a forty this year. The mirror at 35-12 is it's best weight but it looks like a cormorant or a heron has had a stab at it , it has virtually healed I don't think it has anything to do with otters as we have fenced the lake and none have been seen for a while. The common is typical of the commons we have the best going 36lb, there was a good head of tench in but since we have been catching and selling them off the carp have been steadily improving in weight. How are you doing making more alarms this has wet my appetite and I really want to buy two more heads in yellow to go with the two I have got, how soon can I expect to purchase them not only are they the best but they seem to be also lucky for me All the best. Regards Bob`` Gavin Phillips emailed me last night with an outstanding photo of a huge monster carp he's just landed on his mk1 compacts, I'm sure you'll agree he's well and truly christened his alarms! I'm stacked up with angler photos to put up on the site, but all the new tackle developments are commanding all my time up. But over the next few days `ill try to post up more photos of some nice carpy shots and big old carp that have come out to anglers using my alarms. Here's Gavin's story about his monster record breaker carp aptly named....THE BARREL! ``Hi Scott as recently discussed fella see details of the capture of Barrel at 72.08 lbs from Echo Pool France. Brief description of capture - After struggling for past 9 days with none of the big fish active a change in weather brought good fortune on our last night. With only 6hrs remaining I had a slight tremor beep off the right hand rod, that focused my attention and heart stopping seconds later erupted into a full blown one toner!........ A long 45min battle, mostly under the rod tips resulted in slipping the net under a brute of a carp ! Shaking with excitement it finally hit me that my main target fish and largest Mirror in the lake sat sulking in the net !! The Barrel at an incredible 72lb 8ozs. Alarms were faultless fella and very good at picking up the fine bites you get with these big fish. Love them and look forward to more products you will be releasing. `` Great photos Gav, and love the set up, for those of you that are eagle eyed, you might see Gavin using one of my very sought after dmx snag pods, they're on my `to do` list and once I find the time I will get back on their machining, but there's a few other big products in line before I get to them but I am looking at a re-release this year of this fine stainless.
