Its always nice to hear from fellow old skool carp anglers that have done it all and seen it all. Bob writes about his first 18 months on the ecu buzzers....
``Hi Scott, here is a nice common I caught this week 37lb15oz from my Northants syndicate, it wasn't a one toner but a drop back which made me think it was a bream until I latched into it. It's a while since I have had a drop back from a carp and it came as a nice surprise as it fought like mad and I had it twice to the net only for it to tear off again before I could at last net it.
The alarms are still performing well and I am impressed with battery life I still have the original batteries in the heads as supplied by you although I always have the heads on mute and have the receiver on, considering the receiver is on the whole of the session I have only changed the battery 4 times in 18 months my other alarms I used to use I had to replace battery every 4/5 sessions.
All the best
Bob``
