Abi  from the Carpology hq sent me an email telling me about the latest summer special edition they've produced. As soon  as the email had pinged over to me the postie was dropping the magazine through my door! Coincidence  or Carpology black magic working here!...
Scanning through it there's some outstanding photography being delivered by numerous anglers and keen carpy photographers. sub surface guru Gaz Fareham`s done a piece about a winter lean period he experienced then it all came right for him and why?. Terry Hearn gives some logic and thoughtful tactics to summer fishing that I'm sure will give many lads the bigger picture in banking regularly summer carp and not just waiting for that hot morning spell to arrive.
Carp mags as far as I'm concerned are part of our every day carp life we all live in, and id say support the mags when you can, they do a cracking job in highlighting the new gear and the new tactics, or even the old tactics we sometimes forget about. And what I can see is the quality in them is just getting better and better.

As a company I will only advertise in a mag that has my  full support and carpology certainly does. with this special summer issue Johnson Ross have kindly included with every issue their bumper tackle catalogue.
Its extensive! and is without doubt one of the best tackle catalogues out there that's yearly produced and updated. we even feature in this years Johnson Ross catalogue!
With excellent articles and tech content and stunning photography I thinks that's the way to go to delivering an all round excellent carp mag, Carpology are doing this all day long, keep up the good work Carpologists!
Once last thing... check out the fabled Spitfire wood common! the full stories in the issue written by Lewis Porter.
